Role Overview

We are seeking Mid / Senior Data Engineers / DataOps Engineers to architect and manage the pipelines behind our AI Growth Brain. You’ll design scalable data infrastructure, integrate fragmented client sources, and ensure clean, reliable data flows for our ML models and dashboards.

This role is highly collaborative — you’ll work closely with clients, as well as our AI/ML engineers, BI analysts, and product team, shaping the foundation of our modern data stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Integration: Lead the end-to-end client data onboarding process (meetings + async).

  • Pipeline Development: Build & maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines (batch + streaming).

  • Infrastructure: Architect cloud-based systems (AWS: S3, Lambda, ECS) and leverage modern tools (Airbyte, Dagster, dbt, ClickHouse, etc.).

  • Data Quality & Governance: Implement monitoring, testing, and validation for reliable inputs.

  • Collaboration: Optimize pipelines for ML training/inference and dashboards.

  • Optimization: Improve scalability, latency, and cost efficiency.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure GDPR/CCPA readiness.

  • Continuous Improvement: Onboard new sources and expand platform capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years as a Data Engineer / DataOps Engineer (we value impact over years of experience)

  • Proficiency in SQL & Python

  • Hands-on with ETL/ELT (Airbyte, Fivetran, or similar)

  • Experience with cloud data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar)

  • Familiar with workflow orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect)

  • Solid understanding of data modeling & warehousing concepts

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in ML workflows

  • Familiarity with key growth metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, ROAS)

  • Startup / consulting experience

  • Infra-as-code exposure
